Tatt Tatt Tatted up!

You're no longer a "freak" if you sport a tattoo somewhere on your body. No! Let me take that back your still a "freak" if you made the choice to put a tattoo on your face and/or shave your head and put one on your scalp. That's just weird and not yet accepted, unless your rich/famous and don't have to work anywhere common folk can run into you. Anyway now and days you get the gasp if you don't have at least 1 tattoo somewhere on your walking billboard. Personally I love tattoo's I have 2 small tatts and I'm ready for my big piece then I think I'm done. I must say these things are addictive so if your amongst the few boring people in this world who don't have one beware once you ink you can't stop... Yea that don't rhyme but who cares!


What we're getting tatted:
  • Our names: Incase we forget, loose our ID, or maybe just don't feel like saying when someone ask... yea great idea!
  • Kids names: I mean that's special and all but if you have more than 4 kids c'mon who wants to walk around wit a bunch of damn names all over the place? & ya can't get 1 and not get em all.
  • RIP (somebody): I know you miss them but everyone's gonna go one day just try not to remember em all on your body.
  • Asian symbols: No comment - Unless you've taken a chinese course in school it just may not be what you were expecting.
Where we're getting tatted:
  • Lower back: For heaven's sakes that's just the dumbest place to get a tattoo... it screams "look at my ass I'm ugly so keep your eyes right there".
  • Arm
  • Ankle/Calf
  • Shoulder
  • Newest: Neck, Foot, & Wrist
Do's & Don'ts:
  • Do use your brain and remember this is permanent. Think about years down the line how it will look, or that job you may want in the future (will my employer be okay with me walking around the office with this big tatt on my neck).
  • Do think twice before getting a "relationship" tattoo. If babies don't keep em what makes you think his name permanently placed on your thigh will? When the relationship is OVER now you gotta walk around your new man sporting the old man's name in his face...not a good look. Or result to a cover up that's usually big and ugly (go figure).
  • Don't put a tattoo on a place prone to sagging. Your not gonna wanna look at it and we're not either =).
  • Don't get a tattoo under the influence (whatever that influence is).
I love tattoo's!!! I think they paint a picture of a persons personal style. They can be sexy in their own way, & easy on the eye. However people go over board and get crazy and it makes you say "what the hell were they thinking?" Some people can get really creative and get some really nice art work done. Other's can be real jack asses and get some fuckery that mess it up for the rest of us. All in all I say be original, get something meaningful to you, & remember it's PERMANENT!

    I sooo love tattoos too!! I'm honored to say my most recent one is a City of Ink piece courtesy of Sophie (COI's First Lady)...she rocks! Tattoos are most definitely addictive, I guess that's why I now have eight hehe. Am I done? NO! Therefore, I look forward to an upcoming piece, but not until COI Brooklyn opens its doors!! =)

    SN: LOVE the first few days of applying the healing ointment...but HATE the peeling process.

    You forgot to mention tats on the chest. I got a pharoah on mine & yes they are addictive.
